Single Vaccination Programme

Travel Vaccines

Individuals travelling overseas should be protected against those infectious diseases which are not prevalent in this country and are in some parts of the world, e.g., Typhoid, Hepatitis A and B, Yellow Fever, Tickborne Encephalitis and Japanese Encephalitis, Malaria etc.

The mortality and morbidity, that is suffering from these diseases can be quite severe so individuals travelling overseas where these diseases are prevalent should seek advise at least 8 weeks before travelling to these countries.

When travelling to regions of the world where yellow fever is endemic it is statutory that these people not only obtain yellow fever vaccination but also get a certificate from a designated yellow fever centre like ourselves.
